Description:

Mary's Home is a community that helps women and children break free from the cycles of poverty and homelessness. Families receive both medical and behavioral health services. They are welcomed into a safe, trauma-informed place to heal. Beyond healing we provide hope through life skill classes and access to college classes.

What to expect: At this project, volunteers will have the opportunity to write cards for families of Mary's Home, work on their garden and paint two kitchens.

What to bring: Please bring a full water bottle, sunscreen and work gloves.

What to wear: Clothes you don't mind getting dirty/getting paint on and closed toed shoes.

Rally Details: Because you are serving in the Southeast area on CityServe Day, you will be rallying at "The Hub" (see map for details) at 8am. Join us at the Southeast Rally to pray, grab some coffee and meet your project leader before you head to Mary's Home to serve.
